Who we Are
Blessed Organics is a registered company in Uganda operating in Northern Uganda. We are a women owned entity founded on shea butter as the driver of business for the past 20 years of operation.
Our Shea butter is organically certified by: American Shea Butter Institute, European Union and Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS).
We want to transform lives of producers and consumers alike from the Nilotica Shea, which serves as the organic green gold of Acholi livelihood.
Why We Exist (Our Story)
Blessed Organics started in 2004 shortly after the LRA war in Northern Uganda.
We initiated collection of naturally growing native Nilotica shea nuts and processed them into Premium Grade Organic Shea Butter for skin care.
Along the journey we skilled and enabled thousands of disadvantaged women and youth in Acholi, to earn a
living. With this, we have established a sustainable and ethical supply chain for organic products that extends to Sesame and honey of 6,000 farmers and collectors in the ecosystem.

Yes, pure unrefined shea butter is excellent for summer skincare. It provides natural sun protection (SPF 3-4), deeply moisturizes without clogging pores, and has anti-inflammatory properties that soothe sun-exposed skin. Unlike heavy creams, Nilotica shea butter absorbs quickly and won't feel greasy in hot, humid weather.

Yes, pure unrefined shea butter is naturally hypoallergenic and gentle enough for sensitive skin. Even the newly born baby.
